KUALA LUMPUR (May 20): Ehsan Bina Group has formed a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maybank Islamic Bhd to extend a financing programme called HouzKEY to buyers of ForestHill Residences, a high-rise residential project located in Damansara Perdana, Selangor.

In a press statement dated May 18, the developer explained that Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY programme is a financing option that provides 100% financing to homebuyers with no instalment during the construction phase, no downpayment and lower monthly repayment upon completion.

“Today’s partnership paves the way for first-time homebuyers and those looking to upgrade to easily acquire a home without the burden of initial high costs, offering enhanced flexibility and better cash flow management, specifically aiding those facing budget constraints,” said Ehsan Bina chief financial officer Jamie Lai in the statement.  

Meanwhile, Maybank Islamic HouzKEY representative Ahmad Shareza Abdul Rahman expressed that: “This [partnership] is very much aligned with the key intent of HouzKEY, which is to cater to aspiring homeowners to own their first home without the worry of huge financial commitment upfront. We look forward to working with Ehsan Bina to assist Malaysian first homebuyers and upgraders to chart their homeownership journey at ForestHill Residences.”

In the same statement, Ehsan Bina also announced it is partnering Daikin Malaysia and Teka Group in providing sustainable home fitting and furnishings for its ongoing and upcoming projects. It is also an initiative to spread awareness on the importance of embracing water and energy-saving technologies, utilisation of green materials and promoting clean air through eco-friendly practices among its residents.
